Micael Johansson is the President and CEO of the Swedish defence and security company Saab AB, a position which he has held since October 2019. He also became the ice Chairman on the board of ASD in 2023. Micael has around 40 years of experience in engineering, sensor systems and defence. Over the years, he had several leadership positions in different areas at Saab. Most recently, Johansson served as Senior Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of business area surveillance, comprising Saab’s operations within radar, electronic warfare, command and control, as well as traffic management systems. Johansson holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from the University of Uppsala.
